Ethical and Sustainable Gold Mining Management

To address challenges in the gold mining sector, I designed a proof-of-concept dashboard aimed at empowering governments to promote fair trade and ethical mining, enhance revenue collection, and formalize artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). The dashboard integrates real-time data tracking to monitor gold production, trade, and taxation, reducing illicit activities and ensuring transparency in revenue collection. It also includes tools for registering and licensing artisanal miners, streamlining compliance, and providing insights to implement safer and more sustainable mining practices. By fostering ethical supply chains and empowering small-scale miners with fair compensation and resources, the dashboard supports governments in creating a more equitable and sustainable mining ecosystem.
